This policy covers the midnightai website, development blog, and desktop software operated by AI STUDIO (에이아이스튜디오).
1. Website visits and analytics
The product website and blog do not offer visitor registration or sign-in. AI STUDIO does not separately collect website access logs. Our hosting providers, OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare, may process IP addresses, request URLs, browser information, and other technical request data for delivery and security. Their technical records are separate from app records stored on your device.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage. It collects page-view information, including page URLs and titles, and may use cookies and browser identifiers. Analytics can include referral sources, device and browser information, and approximate location.

2. Support inquiries
We use iwinv email hosting, operated by SMILESERV Co., Ltd., for midnightai@midnightai.net. It receives, stores, and sends inquiry emails and attachments. See iwinv's privacy notice.
We use your email address, message, attachments, and any name you provide to respond and follow up on your inquiry. For purchase-related support, we use the order details you provide. Send only necessary information; remove passwords, private keys, full payment-card numbers, and unrelated confidential material.
3. App data and connections you choose
Apps store files, projects, settings, connection profiles, and work records on your device. Copy actions use the operating system clipboard. Credentials saved by supported features are stored locally. Local files and settings are managed through the app or operating system.
Remote features send the information needed for the operation to servers or clients you choose. This can include authentication details, commands, queries, or files. Compatible clients you configure may read or change local project data and use their own external services. Those destinations handle information under their own arrangements.
Apps may create local diagnostic records or session logs where logging is enabled. These are separate from information sent to AI STUDIO. If you send records to support, they become part of your inquiry. Where enabled, update checks and downloads may send connection information to their provider, such as GitHub.
4. Retention and deletion
You control local app files and settings on your device. AI STUDIO uses inquiry records to respond and follow up. You may request deletion of information you supplied to us; applicable legal retention requirements may limit deletion.
Hosting-provider technical records and Google Analytics data are handled through the relevant service configurations and provider arrangements.
5. International processing
Website infrastructure and analytics may involve processing outside South Korea. OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare provide website delivery and security, and Google provides analytics. See their privacy notices: OpenAI, Cloudflare, and Google.
6. Your rights and contact
For access, correction, deletion, or restriction requests concerning personal information held by AI STUDIO, email midnightai@midnightai.net. We verify only the information needed to identify the requester and relevant records. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. If applicable law limits a request, we explain the reason.

Privacy notice for existing services
MIDNIGHTAI (“the Site”) respects user privacy while operating its website and games and processes only the minimum information necessary in accordance with applicable laws.
1. Information We Process and Why
For guest identification, game records and leaderboards, abuse prevention, security, and service reliability, the Site may process a guest number, a hashed player token, game identifier, score, play duration, record timestamps, a hashed IP address, and request or error logs. If you contact us, we may process your email address, inquiry, and information you voluntarily provide in order to respond.
2. Automatically Generated Data and Analytics
Browser and device information, access times, visited pages, referral source, game and link activity, cookies, approximate region, and error records may be generated automatically. The Site may use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and improve the service. We do not intentionally send directly identifying information such as your name or email address to analytics tools.
3. Guest Users and Leaderboards
A guest user may receive a public guest number and a hard-to-guess random player token. The original token is stored in the user’s browser, while only its hash is stored on the server. Public leaderboard responses contain only necessary information such as the guest number, best score, rank, and achievement time. Deleting browser data or changing devices may make the existing guest record unrecoverable.
4. Retention and Deletion
Game and leaderboard information is retained while the service operates, until its purpose is fulfilled, or until a valid deletion request is completed. Minimum records needed for security and abuse prevention may be retained separately for the period necessary for those purposes. Inquiry information is kept only for the minimum period necessary after resolution. Information no longer needed is deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
5. Service Providers and International Processing
The Site may use third-party services such as OpenAI Sites, Cloudflare, and Google Analytics for hosting, file storage, security, and analytics. Service data may therefore be stored or processed on servers outside South Korea. We do not sell personal information. If advertising services are introduced, additional details will be provided in the Advertising & Cookie Notice.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You may request access to, correction or deletion of, or restriction of processing of your personal information. Refusing processing required for guest identification or leaderboards may make those features unavailable, while ordinary gameplay and public content will remain available where reasonably possible.
7. Children’s Privacy
If we need to collect information from a user under 14 where consent from a legal guardian is required, we will verify that consent in accordance with applicable law. Features requiring that information may be restricted when consent cannot be verified.
