This policy explains withdrawal and refund rights for purchases of midnightai software supplied by AI STUDIO (에이아이스튜디오).
1. Statutory withdrawal rights
For consumer transactions subject to South Korea’s Electronic Commerce Act, you can generally withdraw within 7 days after receiving the written contract terms. If the product is supplied later, the period runs from the date it is supplied or supply begins. Other statutory starting points, including when written terms are not provided, also apply.
A statutory exception may apply once digital content delivery begins. However, clear notice of the withdrawal restriction and legally required measures such as trial use or provision of information are necessary. Downloading or using a product alone does not eliminate all withdrawal rights. Divisible portions whose delivery has not begun are considered separately.
Applicable law and platform conditions depend on your country of residence and the transaction.
2. Defects, description discrepancies, and payment issues
Contact us about duplicate charges, products or licenses not supplied, core features that do not work in the stated supported environment, or material differences between the description at purchase and the actual product. We will explain remedies such as provision, correction, and refunds under applicable law and contract.
Where South Korea’s Electronic Commerce Act applies and performance differs from the advertised or contractual terms, statutory withdrawal is available independently of the ordinary withdrawal period and its exceptions. The statutory periods are within 3 months after receiving the product and within 30 days after you became aware, or could have become aware, of the discrepancy.
We do not require troubleshooting attempts or unnecessary documents for requests that meet statutory requirements.
3. Requesting help
Email midnightai@midnightai.net with your purchase channel, order reference or receipt, and request. For technical issues, include the app version, operating system, and symptoms. Send only necessary information; do not include full payment-card numbers, passwords, or complete license keys.
4. Purchase-channel procedures
Purchases completed through Lemon Squeezy: Contact AI STUDIO with your order reference for product issues and technical support. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record and handles payment-related refunds under its Buyer Terms and refund procedures.
Purchases billed by Apple: Follow Apple's refund instructions and submit through reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple reviews and processes requests; AI STUDIO provides technical support and cannot submit or approve an Apple refund for you.
5. Processing deadlines and payment posting
For statutory withdrawal from a digital-content transaction subject to Article 18 of South Korea’s Electronic Commerce Act, the payment must be refunded within 3 business days after withdrawal. Statutory measures such as requests to stop or cancel card charges also apply. Platform procedures do not limit statutory rights.
The seller or payment provider’s refund-processing deadline is distinct from when a card issuer or bank posts the credit to an account or statement. A delay in payment posting is not an extension of the statutory refund obligation.
6. Licenses and your materials
License termination after a refund or withdrawal follows the applicable contract and purchase terms. If an order is only partly refunded, the affected licenses are identified separately. A refund does not change ownership of materials you created.
